01How does Calendar Alarm work with my existing calendar?+
Calendar Alarm reads the calendars you choose on Android and can also connect supported Google, Microsoft Outlook, and CalDAV accounts. It brings events into one view and lets you turn selected events or calendars into persistent alarms.
02Does every calendar event have to trigger an alarm?+
No. You can enable or mute alarms by calendar and adjust individual events. That makes shared, holiday, or informational calendars useful without making them noisy.
03Can I choose the sound, volume, and snooze time?+
Yes. Calendar Alarm supports custom alarm sounds, volume behavior, vibration, and flexible snooze timing. Some choices depend on your Android version and device permissions.
04Why does the app ask about battery optimization?+
Some Android manufacturers restrict apps in the background. Allowing Calendar Alarm to run reliably helps it schedule and present alarms at the intended time. The in-app troubleshooting guide explains the settings for common devices.
05Is Calendar Alarm an ADHD treatment?+
No. It is a calendar and reminder tool, not a medical device. Some reviewers with ADHD or time blindness say persistent alarms help them notice appointments, but experiences vary.
06What is included in Pro?+
Pro removes ads and unlocks additional personalization such as exclusive themes and custom background or alarm images. Plans, prices, trials, and eligibility are shown by Google Play and can vary by region and account.
07Which calendars can I connect?+
Use calendars already synchronized to Android or connect supported accounts directly. Current options include Google, Outlook and Microsoft 365, iCloud, and other CalDAV providers. Avoid syncing the same account through two methods because that can create duplicate events.
08Will alarms appear over my lock screen or during Do Not Disturb?+
Calendar Alarm supports full-screen alarm presentation, but Android permissions and manufacturer restrictions control the final behavior. The app checks notification, exact-alarm, full-screen, battery, overlay, and Do Not Disturb access. Test the setup on your specific phone before relying on it for an important event.
09Does Calendar Alarm work offline?+
Events already stored on the device remain visible and scheduled alarms can ring offline. Internet is needed for new direct-sync changes and online features such as weather, places, AI tools, advertising, and purchase verification.
10Can another app’s notification trigger an alarm?+
Yes, if you grant Notification Access and create a matching rule. Matching happens locally. It depends on the source app actually posting a compatible notification and on Android allowing Calendar Alarm to observe it.
11How do I restore Pro?+
Sign in to the same Google Play account used for the purchase, open Upgrade to Pro, and choose Restore Purchase. Allow Google Play a moment to refresh. If the purchase is still missing, contact support with the receipt before buying again.
12Can I pause alarms while I am away?+
Yes. Calendar Alarm includes controls for temporary changes and exceptions. Review the app’s current pause or vacation options before a trip, then restore the normal setup when you return.
13Why is an event missing?+
Confirm the account is synchronized, the calendar is selected for import, and the date is inside the loaded range. All-day import and invitation-response filters can also hide events. For direct sync, run Sync now and review the account status.
14How does AI Help Chat use my data?+
It can send your question, recent chat turns, language, app version, Pro state, an anonymous technical identity, and a redacted settings snapshot to the cloud AI service. It does not apply a proposed setting until you tap Apply. See the privacy policy for the full disclosure.
